Power Crunch needed a modern, mobile-first website that reflected its vibrant, flavor-packed brand and delivered a smoother, more engaging user experience. They were mid-rebrand when the project began, which meant design choices could directly influence the brand’s evolving identity. Partnering with Studio Misfits, I helped manage the project from kickoff to launch, bridging communication between the client, design, and development teams while keeping the build on track.

My Role
I served as project manager and digital liaison, ensuring that Power Crunch’s vision and Studio Misfits’ creative approach stayed aligned.

  • Coordinated delivery timelines, approvals, and feedback loops between client leadership and our internal teams

  • Managed content migration and organization in WP Engine

  • Troubleshot Shopify integration and site performance bugs before launch

  • Supported frontend adjustments and content revisions during the final build-out

  • Kept the project on schedule despite shifting priorities during the rebrand process


Our goal was to deliver a modern, mobile-first website that reflected Power Crunch’s vibrant personality while fixing the usability issues of their old, two-system setup. The original site ran WordPress for content and Magento for e-commerce, leading to duplicate content, inconsistent navigation, and a clunky user experience.

We approached the redesign with three priorities:

  • Unify the experience into a single, seamless WordPress + Shopify platform

  • Create an engaging flavor-burst visual system to showcase each product

  • Use the redesign process to reinforce and inform the evolving Power Crunch rebrand


The Build
The project moved from discovery to development in tight coordination with Power Crunch’s marketing team.

My role included:

  • Managing project communication and approvals between the client and internal teams

  • Organizing and updating content within WP Engine

  • Troubleshooting Shopify integration and performance bugs before launch

  • Coordinating frontend adjustments, content revisions, and QA testing

  • Supporting photo asset implementation for layered flavor-burst animations


The Outcome
The launch delivered a bright, highly engaging site that works seamlessly across devices and platforms. Navigation was simplified, mobile performance improved, and design elements from the site directly influenced typography, color palette, and styling in Power Crunch’s broader rebrand. The unified Shopify integration streamlined e-commerce, and client feedback highlighted the smoothness of the launch process.

Reflection
This project sharpened my ability to manage creative and technical workflows in parallel. Serving as the bridge between design, development, and client stakeholders required balancing brand vision with practical execution, especially in the context of a fast-moving rebrand. The experience reinforced the value of proactive troubleshooting and clear communication in delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time.
